The Journey Begins – A Leap of Faith to India
As I sit at the airport, heart fluttering with a mixture of nervous anticipation and excitement, it’s finally hitting me—I’m about to board my flight to India. This moment has been years in the making, and while it feels surreal, I know it’s exactly where I’m meant to be.
India has always called to me, whispering promises of transformation, wisdom, and healing. This journey feels like the culmination of so much—the struggles I’ve faced, the lessons I’ve learned, and the inner voice that kept guiding me forward, even when the path seemed unclear.
The nervousness is real. There’s a part of me that still wonders, “Am I ready? Did I pack enough? Do I really know what I’m doing?” But then, life has a way of sending reminders that everything is exactly as it should be. Case in point: I discovered that the lead teacher of my training will be on my flight. A little nudge from the universe letting me know I’m supported, reassured, and divinely guided.
This trip is more than just travel; it’s a pilgrimage. It’s a surrender to the unknown, a step into the vastness of possibility. It’s the embodiment of faith—not just in the destination but in the process of getting there.
As I wait to board, I’m reflecting on all the love and preparation that went into this moment. The prayers, the plans, the many nights spent dreaming about what this journey could hold. I’m bringing with me not just my suitcase (which, let’s be real, is very carefully curated and color-coordinated), but also an open heart, a curious mind, and a deep desire to connect with something bigger than myself.
I can’t wait to experience the vibrant energy of Mumbai, immerse myself in the sacred teachings, and eventually find myself in the spiritual embrace of Rishikesh. This trip is a gift to myself—an invitation to lean fully into my potential and step into a space of deeper alignment, growth, and authenticity.
I’m reminded of something I often say to my yoga students: “You have everything you need, right here, right now, right inside of you.” Sitting here, I truly feel that. The tools I’ve cultivated over the years, the inner strength I’ve built, and the support of the divine are all with me.
To anyone reading this: take that leap. Whatever it is you’re dreaming of, whatever you feel called to do—say yes. Trust that the path will unfold, that you’ll be guided, and that everything you need will come to you in perfect timing.
Next stop: India! I’ll be sharing my experiences, reflections, and of course... some outfit updates (yes, beige, garnet, jade and brown!) along the way. Let this be a reminder that life is an adventure, and every step of the journey is sacred.
