Kali’s Kāvya – Poetry
“Verses woven from devotion, longing, and the eternal dance of transformation.”
Kali’s Kāvya is a sacred collection of poetry, inspired by the Sanskrit tradition of Kāvya—lyrical compositions that blend profound meaning with aesthetic beauty. Rooted in devotion, longing, and the rhythm of the soul, these verses serve as offerings to the divine. Each poem carries the essence of transformation, reflecting the interplay of shadow and light, destruction and rebirth
“Om Krim Kalikayei Namaha” (ॐ क्रीं कालिकायै नमः)
Meaning:
This is a sacred mantra dedicated to Kali Ma, invoking her energy of destruction, transformation, and rebirth. It helps remove limiting beliefs, clear obstacles, and surrender to divine wisdom.

We Teach What We Need To Learn
-Kali Grayce
Belly full of fruit, bathtub full of flowers,
Soaking into her cells—the place she once lost power.
This world wears her down the longer she’s in it,
A body in pain when it forgets its limits.
Somewhere along the way, she lost her spark,
She sees only shadows—believing the world is dark.
Slow down, child,
There’s no need to rush.
Soften your edges,
Embrace a gentle touch.
Breathe in deeply,
Feel the earth below.
You are safe here—
There’s nowhere to go.
Dreaming of paradise, where the body feels lighter,
God gave her this struggle because He knows she’s a fighter.
But struggle is not a badge to be earned,
We end up teaching what we need to learn.
Her limiting beliefs keep her chained to the floor,
Forgetting her essence, what she is at the core.
Identifying with form, she fights to break free,
Forgetting that deep down, she’s pure energy.
When all is said and done, we’re skin and bones,
Where is the place she will finally call home?
So fuck the scale—who cares about size?
None of it matters—when will she realize?
She is not this body. She is not this mind.
God’s creation—whole and divine.
We remember to forget. Forget to remember.
The key to samadhi is unconditional surrender.
Recite the mantras.
Perform the asana.
And whenever you’re in doubt—
Ishvara Pranidhana.
Kali Ma, tear away the illusion,
strip me of all that is not mine to hold.
Let me fall freely into your arms,
trusting the divine flow that carries me home.
I release. I remember. I return.
Ishvara Pranidhana.
