A Journey of Transformation: From Shadows to Light

Saturday December 28 2024

As the day draws closer to my long-awaited journey to India and Bali, I can feel the threads of my life weaving into the elegant tapestry of transformation. This trip is more than a physical journey; it’s the culmination of years of healing, growth, and surrender to the divine forces that guide my path.

Looking back, I’m in awe of how far I’ve come. Eight years ago, I made the life-changing decision to come off a decade of medications. At the time, I had no idea the depth of challenges and blessings that lay ahead. The journey was anything but easy, yet I believe it

was the vision of Govardhan Eco Village, the healing waters of Bali, and the fierce, loving energy of Kali Ma that carried me through some of my darkest moments.

The tattoo of Kali I got wasn’t just ink—it was a vow, a declaration to myself to transform and reclaim my life. And looking at where I stand today, I can say with certainty: I did it.

Now, as I pack my beige, garnet, and brown outfits (that you’ll definitely see pictures of 😉), I’m reminded of the lessons this past year has taught me. From navigating complex relationships to building authentic friendships, every moment has prepared me for this adventure. Even though a lot of these connections have had their challenges, I’m grateful for everyone who has entered my life as teachers, mirrors, and everything in between.

This trip isn’t just about me—it’s about us. It’s about building Kali Kollective, a brand rooted in empowerment, balance, and holistic healing. It’s about integrating yoga, sound healing, and Thai massage to create transformative experiences for others. It’s about embracing my truth as I step fully into my role as a teacher, musician, a healer, and a creator.

I’m also excited to launch my blog, “Kali's Kompass: Stories of Shakti, Style, and Sacred Adventures,” where I’ll document every moment—from sacred kirtans in Mumbai to Thai massage training in Rishikesh, and even my travels to Ubud, Bali. There will be stories, reflections, and plenty of photos (color-coordinated, of course).

As I prepare to leave, I've found peace in the (mostly) silent stillness of these final days at home. I’ve spent this time meditating, writing, cooking/baking (doobeedoobeedoo), and reflecting on how love, even when it’s imperfect, shapes us into who we’re meant to be.

To my friends, family, and everyone who’s been part of this journey—thank you. Thank you for the support, the laughs, the lessons, and the love. And to the divine energy of Kali and Shiva, thank you for calling me home to my soul.

Here’s to transformation, to sacred adventures, and to stepping boldly into the unknown. 🌺🔥

With love and gratitude,

Eve ❤️ (aka Kali Grayce)
